"For we walk by faith, not by sight."

-2 Corinthians 5:7

"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."

-Hebrews 11:1

Every journey of faith begins with a step of obedience.
Revival on Rubber began with a life that needed rescuing. It exists because one man chose to say yes when God began stirring something deeper. What God restored, He is now sending back out into the world—carrying the hope of the Gospel wherever He leads.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight."

-Proverbs 3:5-6

This ministry isn't built on comfort or convenience.
It's built on faith, obedience, and surrender.

"Come and hear, all you who fear God, and I will tell what He has done for my soul." -Psalm 66:16

In The Beginning

Before the mission, came the transformation

Like many people searching for identity and fulfillment, purpose was once sought in the wrong places—through pride, worldly living, and things that never truly satisfied.

What looked like strength on the outside often hid brokenness within. Every escape I sought, whether in substances, approval, or control—left me emptier than before.

I didn't believe in God then, but He changed that—His hand was already at work, turning my failures into fuel for a mission only He could orchestrate.

Through His mercy, He began waking a heart that had been asleep, revealing a deeper truth: identity isn’t found in the world, but in Christ alone.

"I waited patiently for the Lord; He inclined to me and heard me cry. He drew me up from the pit of destruction, out of the miry bog, and set my feet upon a rock, making my steps secure. He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God." -Psalm 40:1-3

"If anyone is in Christ, He is a new creation."
-2 Corinthians 5:17

"An instrument for special purposes, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work."

-2 Timothy 2:21

As faith began to grow, so did a burden for others.

In 2021, the call to step away from everything familiar became impossible to ignore. God led me to leave behind the business I had spent years building and instead open my home and yard as a place of refuge for community—hosting free fitness classes, children's programs, men's groups, and large group gatherings, often more than once a day, while trusting Him to miraculously provide what was needed.

Answering the Call at Home

The first steps of obedience

"If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow Me." -Luke 9:23

The Refining

Turning from fear to faith, and learning to walk in love

What followed was a five-year roller coaster of refining, where God patiently shaped me into an obedient son who came to truly know his Heavenly Father through Jesus Christ. The process was not always easy—old habits were stripped away, pride was confronted, and faith was tested in ways I never expected.

In the quiet places of surrender and the stretching moments of obedience, He was doing a deeper work. My faith grew stronger, my capacity to love widened, and the heart of a servant-leader began to take form.

What once felt like loss became preparation.

What once felt uncertain became alignment.

With each step of surrender, God was refining not just my path

—but my heart.

"I will refine them like silver and test them like gold. They will call on my name and I will answer them." -Zechariah 13:9

Answering the Call into the Land He Will Show Me

Where faith met the road

Through years of dying to myself and learning what it meant to pick up my cross and serve Christ, the next step into the unknown became clear—much like in Genesis 12:1:

“Leave your home and your people, and go to the land I will show you.”
In obedience, I listed my house for sale a few weeks later. It sold seven days later. Within a few more weeks, I had sold or given away most of my possessions, packed up my life, and stepped out in faith—leaving behind the familiar to follow where God was leading.

The next leg of the journey soon unfolded. God led me nearly 3,000 kilometres away on what can only be described as a miraculous assignment: purchasing a 40-foot school bus for a very specific and adventurous mission.

"By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to a place that he was to receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going." -Hebrews 11:8

Jesus bus - The Ark on Wheels

"The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in his way."

-Psalm 37:23

The Vision

Where the road found its purpose

It is called The Ark — The Ark on Wheels
Being built to gather the willing, to carry those marked by the same fire. Designed for evangelism, mission work, and providing shelter when it is needed most.

"Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ."

-Galatians 6:2

Converting a 40-foot school bus into an off-grid traveling home and ministry is a new beginning, and is not meant to be just another bus conversion. The vision is for it to become a rolling work of art, a refuge, and a vessel of service—something that draws people in everywhere it goes, reflects a glimpse of God's glory, and opens doors for meaningful gospel conversations.

More than a home for one family, it will become a vehicle for sending—sending believers out as faithful witnesses wherever God leads.

A Vessel for the Gospel

-The Vision

The mission is simple: proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ. Through testimony, conversation, and service, the goal is to help people repent, restore broken relationships with God, and equip disciples to live boldly for Christ. This calling reflects the command of Jesus in Matthew 28:19 to go into the world and make disciples.

THE FIRST DRIVE HOME

California → Winnipeg

"For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes." -Romans 1:16

A Platform for Mission Work

-The Vision

Built with eight beds and for all climates, the Ark on Wheels will allow teams to travel for evangelism, speaking events, and hands-on-service. At times this may look like eight to twelve people traveling together, or even more in a convoy—responding to natural disasters, repairing homes, building churches, or creating community gardens while serving Gods children in need.

A Place of Refuge

-The Vision

At other times, the mission may send only one or two while the Ark becomes temporary housing for a family displaced by disaster. In these moments, it becomes more than transportation—it becomes shelter, stability, and a place where hope can begin to grow again.

The Wilderness

A season of preparation

Since selling my house, the Lord has led me to live just fifteen minutes outside of Winnipeg, in a kind of wilderness with no running water and limited electricity—a place that continually teaches dependence on Him, often through the body of Christ.

He has graciously provided a property to steward and a camper to call home.

With hands ready for labor and a heart poised to serve, I see now that this calling is not mine alone. It is a tapestry meant to be woven with the body of Christ—through the Word, prayer, worship, testimonies, service, skills, and faithful provision.

In the wilderness, preparation is more than work; it is surrender. It is releasing control, listening for His voice, and standing ready for the next step of His mission.

The Mission

From wilderness to work

Before rubber hits the road, there is the build-out—a significant undertaking and a ministry in itself.

It is a faith-shaping opportunity for mission work, fellowship, and drawing nearer to God together in Christ.

Starting in Winnipeg, MB, this spring through summer of 2026, we are welcoming volunteers six days a week to work on the bus alongside current outreach projects, all structured with devotionals, worship, group prayer, study, and testimonies.
